Programs by age group and season
Youth, middle school, high school and open adult groups each run as their own program with their own practice schedule and membership. Run a folkstyle winter and a freestyle and Greco spring as separate programs, or one year-round club, whichever matches how you actually operate.
Dues that fit how clubs charge
Memberships are priced per program, so a youth membership and an adult open-mat membership carry their own prices. Card processing is 2.6% + 30¢ per transaction and funds land in your own bank account.
Ranks optional, attendance mandatory
A program can run with no rank track at all, or with the levels you define: beginner, intermediate, varsity-ready. Attendance is taken at every practice regardless, because in a club the practice count is the progress record.
Where Kmura comes from, stated plainly: it is built BJJ-first, and jiu-jitsu academies are our core focus.
What a wrestling club uses is the grappling-club core underneath: rosters, memberships, practice schedules, attendance, athlete and parent communication, and coach hours. What it is not is a federation or tournament system. USA Wrestling memberships, weigh-ins and brackets stay where they live today; Kmura runs the club between events.
The Season Problem
Every club's year has the same shape: a rush in the fall, a slow leak in February, and a smaller room by spring.
USA Wrestling memberships run on a September 1 to August 31 year, and sanctioned events require a current membership card at registration and weigh-ins, so the club calendar is set from the outside. Enrollment surges when school starts, the roster is largest in November, and the families who drift usually do it quietly in the middle of the season. Kmura gives you the two things that make a season manageable: programs you set up as the calendar turns, and attendance that shows exactly when a wrestler started missing practice instead of a coach noticing a month later that the mat felt thin.
Practice cancelled for weather or a gym conflict? SMS to a program's roster is pay-as-you-go, with the exact cost shown before you send based on recipient count and message length. It is the only thing billed outside the flat monthly price.
A Nightly Review That Drafts, Never Sends
The wrestler who quits rarely says so. The parent just stops driving them on Tuesdays.
Every night Kmura reads the club's activity: attendance patterns, gaps, billing state. It surfaces who has gone from three practices a week to one, whose membership payment failed quietly, and which families who asked about the club never signed up.
For each one it pre-drafts the check-in message. A coach reads it, edits it if they want, and sends it. Kmura never sends anything on its own.
A note from the coach who actually runs the room is what brings a kid back. That is why the system only drafts, and why the words are yours.
One Flat Price for the Whole Club
A club of forty and a club of a hundred and forty pay the same.
Kmura is $150 a month per location, flat, with every program and every feature included. There are no per-athlete tiers, so the price does not climb with the roster in November, and there are no feature gates.
Card processing is 2.6% + 30¢ per transaction, built in, with funds landing in your own bank account. Coach hours and practices coached are tracked per coach, which turns paying assistant coaches into reading a report. Tracking is where it stops: Kmura is not payroll software.
