The Processing Rate Is Not Published
Zen Planner does not publish a card processing rate anywhere on its pricing pages. Payments run through its preferred provider, PaySimple, and the rate you get is quoted rather than listed.
A feature called Flex Fees can pass a transaction fee on to your members, which shifts the cost rather than removing it. That is a legitimate option some academies choose — but it changes what your students pay, so it belongs in the decision.
Our advice, whoever you sign with: get your quoted percentage and per-transaction fee in writing before you commit. On card volume, a third of a percent is real money every month.

What the Same Academy Pays on Kmura
$150 a month per location, flat. Every feature is included at every size — there is no add-on menu, and the price does not move when you add students. Card processing is 2.6% + 30¢, published up front.
The only thing billed outside that flat price is SMS, which is pay-as-you-go with the cost shown before you send. Beyond price, Kmura is built for jiu-jitsu specifically: belt and stripe tracking, a fully customizable curriculum, instructor hours and classes taught (we track them — we are not payroll software), and a nightly AI review that flags at-risk students and pre-drafts the follow-up for your staff to send.
