What BJJLink Is, and Who It Fits
A fair read first: BJJLink is one of the few platforms built for jiu-jitsu specifically, and that shows.
BJJLink is management software built for jiu-jitsu academies, with two plans as of September 1, 2026: BLACK at $49 a month plus a 1% service fee on billing, and CORAL at $149 a month with no service fee. Both include unlimited students, billing, attendance, student data, email and text automations, engagement tools, lead generation, an outbound marketing email tool with a CMS, and the Academy LMS.
The LMS and technique library are the distinctive part: a curriculum builder, automated belt promotions, a student app, mobile apps and a tablet kiosk. There are no contracts, a 30-day free trial with setup support, and no per-student fees.
For an academy that wants to deliver technique content to students inside the software, that is a real reason to choose it. The question for everyone else is what the fee structure and the content-first model cost you.
Why BJJ Academies Start Looking Elsewhere
Three things to price honestly before choosing a plan.
The 1% crossover
On the $49 plan, 1% of billing is the real price. At $14,600 a month in membership revenue, 100 students at the $146 US average from Gold BJJ's State of Jiu Jitsu survey, the fee is $146, making the plan $195 all in. Above roughly $10,000 a month in billing the $149 no-fee plan is cheaper, and at that point BJJLink and Kmura's $150 are within a dollar of each other before processing.
Processing terms you have to ask for
The pricing page describes the service fee but not the card rate or per-transaction fee underneath it. Get the exact card-not-present rate in writing; on $14,600 a month, every 0.1% is $14.60 a month. Kmura publishes its rate: 2.6% + 30¢.
Content-first, by design
The technique library is the product's center of gravity. If your instructors already teach from their own curriculum and your students do not watch videos in an app, you are paying for the part of the product you use least, while the operations and retention tooling is what you actually run every day. Kmura's curriculum is fully customizable and tied to the ranks you define, and its nightly review drafts the check-ins that keep students on the mat.
None of that makes BJJLink a bad platform. It makes it a platform built around a technique library first, which is exactly right for some academies.
